We use your email address to create your account, send sign-in links and confirm email changes. Your email is private. We don’t use passwords.
Account and verification data
We store account records, hashed sign-in challenges, session records and linked Git identities. Git credentials are encrypted and used to verify your repository permissions. Phone verification is handled by Twilio Verify; RageMods retains a keyed phone digest and a masked suffix after verification. Git and phone verification do not provide account recovery.
Cookies and requests
Secure account cookies keep you signed in. Access cookies last five minutes; the refresh session lasts at most seven days. We apply request limits to reduce spam and store rate-limit identifiers. Authentication pages exclude advertising widgets. Cloudflare Turnstile helps check sign-in and verification requests.
Public contributions
Approved public listing information is published on cached pages and may be indexed by search engines. Don’t include private information in public fields. Mod files remain on the repository provider you choose.
Search and service providers
Search runs locally against our published catalog. Your queries are sent to RageMods to return results. Cloudflare protects public traffic and provides email delivery. RageMods runs its application and catalog storage on its own server. Git providers handle account linking and repository downloads. Their services have their own privacy terms.
Help with your information
Use the contact listed in our content policy for privacy and deletion requests. Recover a lost mailbox with your email provider; we cannot use a Git account or phone number to restore access.
