Community standards

Room for legal creativity.

RageMods accepts PC game mods that are legal to distribute in the United States. Contributors must have the rights or permissions needed to share their files, descriptions and other content.

What we review

We review submissions for unlawful content, infringement, malware, deceptive downloads, harassment and exposure of private information. A game publisher’s EULA or terms violation alone is not our basis for removing a listing. Legal obligations, rights complaints and binding legal process are handled separately.

External repositories

Mod files must be hosted in a public Git repository or its supported release storage. Contributors must have current permission to publish there. The repository provider applies its own rules; linking a repository does not guarantee its continued availability.

Content ratings

Label mature content accurately. Mature submissions receive a neutral public preview and are excluded from public discovery details. Private information and restricted material must never appear in public descriptions or screenshots.

Report a concern

Send legal notices and safety concerns to [email protected]. Include the listing URL, a description of the concern and any supporting information. Rights complaints should identify the protected work, the disputed material and your authority to act.

We may suspend contributions or remove listings when required by this policy or applicable law. Creators may contact us about an incorrect decision.
